Uroš Isak Mladenović is a Doctor of Arts, actor, director, youth worker, and theater creator. He completed his acting studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 2013, under the mentorship of Professor Ljuboslav Majere, and his master’s studies in 2014 with Professor Haris Pašović. In April 2021, he defended his artistic project “Who is Antigone to Me? – The Actor as Creator and Performer of a Play” as part of his doctoral studies in Drama and Audiovisual Arts at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, with Professor Nikita Milivojević as his mentor.
He founded the Teleport Theater, which focuses on artistic education for children and young people through workshop-based activities and performances across various cities in Serbia. He has participated in several international projects supported by Creative Europe as a member of the Kulturanova Association from Novi Sad and has led projects with partners across Europe. He has performed in renowned theaters such as La Mama in New York, as well as in Cairo, Riyadh, and Jeddah. He also served as the artistic coordinator of the Academy for Social Change Actors – Artivism in Budapest. He has created performances with children without parental care, children living in enclaves, and those in rural isolated areas. He has received several awards, including the Best Young Actor Award at the Festival of Professional Theaters of Vojvodina in 2021.
